Let’s Give ‘Em a Break!

Allied Waste drivers will not be working Thanksgiving Day. To help us stay on schedule, please pay attention to the following instructions about your trash day. If your normal pickup day is on that Thursday, place your can out to be picked up Friday. If your normal pickup day is Friday, please place your can out to be picked up on Saturday. The following week will resume your normal schedule.

Remember to have your can out by 6am.

Landfill/ Scalehouse Hours

Monday – Friday: 7 am – 5:30 pm
Saturday: 7am- 3:30pm

Landfill is open holidays except for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas day, and New Year’s Day.

Office Hours

From St. George, Santa Clara, and Ivins, Dammeron Valley, Veyo, Central, Enterprise: Head on I-15 north, exit on Washington Parkway, turn right and go straight through round about, turn left on Telegraph, go through the light at Coral Canyon, make the next right onto Landfill Road. When you reach the stop sign, take a left. The Scale House is located on the right hand side of the road (325 N Landfill Road)

From Hurricane, LaVerkin, Apple Valley: Go through Hurricane heading west towards I-15, turn left at the Chevron Station onto Telegraph, turn left onto Landfill Road. When you reach the stop sign, take a left. The Scale House is located on the right hand side of the road (325 N Landfill Road)

From Toquerville, Springdale, Rockville, Virgin, New Harmony: Head south on I-15, exit on Washington Parkway, turn left and go straight through round about, turn left on Telegraph, go through the light at Coral Canyon, make the next right onto Landfill Road. From Washington City: Take Telegraph and head north towards Coral Canyon, go through the light at Coral Canyon, make the next right onto Landfill Road. When you reach the stop sign, take a left. The Scale House is located on the right hand side of the road (325 N Landfill Road)

Repairs/New & Additional Garbage Can

Please call (435) 673-2813 for all requests for repairs or new or additional cans.

Bulky Item Removal

Bulky items are defined as “household appliances, furniture, Christmas trees, bicycles, toys and tree limbs that are less than 6 feet in length, less than 6 inches in diameter and bundled.”

Please call Allied Waste @ 628-2821 to make an appointment for removal of items.

Cardboard must be broken down and flattened into 3x 3 squares and bounded together. It can then be placed next to your toter.

Allied works every holiday except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. On the weeks with those holidays, service is delayed by one day following the holiday. Friday’s route is pushed to Saturday. This year it will just be Thursday and Fridays that will be affected.
